# Patch Branding

## Request body

- BrandingUpdate: A field left absent is unchanged; an explicit empty string clears it. `product_names` is replaced whole, not merged: the console sends the full map it renders, and `{}` clears every name. Shape rules (key pattern, value length, entry cap) are enforced in `services.branding`, where the accent colour's are, so both routers answer 400 with the same message. `font_family`, `theme_canvas` and `theme_secondary` follow the same rule as the accent: inputs the customer chose, stored as given (trimmed), derived into tokens by the product. The font FILES are uploaded separately, per weight.
