# GET /providers/Microsoft.Network/trafficManagerGeographicHierarchies/default

`GET /providers/Microsoft.Network/trafficManagerGeographicHierarchies/default`

Gets the default Geographic Hierarchy used by the Geographic traffic routing method.

## Query parameters

- `api-version` string, required

## Response `200`

The default Geographic Hierarchy.

- TrafficManagerGeographicHierarchy — The core properties of ARM resources
  - `id` string — Fully qualified resource Id for the resource. Ex - /subscriptions/{subscriptionId}/resourceGroups/{resourceGroupName}/providers/Microsoft.Network/trafficManagerProfiles/{resourceName}
  - `name` string — The name of the resource
  - `type` string — The type of the resource. Ex- Microsoft.Network/trafficManagerProfiles.

## Other responses

- `default` — Default response. It will be deserialized as per the Error definition.
