# PUT /subscriptions/{subscriptionId}/resourcegroups/{resourceGroupName}/providers/Microsoft.StreamAnalytics/streamingjobs/{jobName}

`PUT /subscriptions/{subscriptionId}/resourcegroups/{resourceGroupName}/providers/Microsoft.StreamAnalytics/streamingjobs/{jobName}`

Creates a streaming job or replaces an already existing streaming job.

- `subscriptionId` string, required
- `resourceGroupName` string, required
- `jobName` string, required

## Request body

- StreamingJob — The base resource definition
  - `id` string — Fully qualified resource Id for the resource. Ex - /subscriptions/{subscriptionId}/resourceGroups/{resourceGroupName}/providers/{resourceProviderNamespace}/{resourceType}/{resourceName}
  - `name` string — The name of the resource
  - `type` string — The type of the resource. Ex- Microsoft.Compute/virtualMachines or Microsoft.Storage/storageAccounts.

## Response `200`

The streaming job was successfully created or replaced.
