# Get participants in a room.

`GET /rooms/{roomId}/participants`

## Path parameters

- `roomId` string, required

## Query parameters

- `api-version` string, required

## Response `200`

Request successful. The action returns the participants of the room.

- ParticipantsCollection — A collection of participants in a room.
  - `value` RoomParticipant[], required — A collection of participants.
    - `rawId` string, required — Raw ID representation of the communication identifier. Please refer to the following document for additional information on Raw ID. <br> https://learn.microsoft.com/azure/communication-services/concepts/identifiers?pivots=programming-language-rest#raw-id-representation
    - `role` 'Presenter' | 'Attendee' | 'Consumer', required — The role of a room participant. The default value is Attendee.
  - `nextLink` string — If there are more participants that can be retrieved, the next link will be populated.
