`PATCH /subscriptions/{subscriptionId}/resourceGroups/{resourceGroupName}/providers/microsoft.insights/workbooktemplates/{resourceName}`

Updates a workbook template that has already been added.

## Request body

- WorkbookTemplateUpdateParameters — The parameters that can be provided when updating workbook template.
  - `tags` object — Resource tags
  - `properties` WorkbookTemplateProperties — Properties that contain a workbook template.
    - `priority` integer — Priority of the template. Determines which template to open when a workbook gallery is opened in viewer mode.
    - `author` string — Information about the author of the workbook template.
    - `templateData` object, required — Valid JSON object containing workbook template payload.
    - `galleries` WorkbookTemplateGallery[], required — Workbook galleries supported by the template.
      - `name` string — Name of the workbook template in the gallery.
      - `category` string — Category for the gallery.
      - `type` string — Type of workbook supported by the workbook template.
      - `order` integer — Order of the template within the gallery.
      - `resourceType` string — Azure resource type supported by the gallery.
    - `localized` object — Key value pair of localized gallery. Each key is the locale code of languages supported by the Azure portal.

The workbook template definition updated.

  - `type` string — Azure resource type
  - `location` string, required — Resource location
  - `tags` object — Resource tags
