# Rewrite a prompt for a model

`POST /api/v2/prompts/enhance`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://azurade.com`
- URL: `https://azurade.com/api/v2/prompts/enhance`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `Authorization`

Expands a short prompt into a detailed one, using the target model's own prompting guide when a model is given. Costs 1 credit. The same rewrite is free when requested inside a generation with enhance_prompt: true.
