# Get Latest Intent

`GET /entities/asset/{asset_id}/intent`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api-sandbox.axle.energy`

Get the last recorded intent.

## Path parameters

- `asset_id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

Last intent successfully retrieved

- IntentResponse: An intent and the time it was received.
  - `intent` Intent, required: This is the received intent from a user
    - `energy_required_kwh` number, required
    - `ready_by` string, date-time, required: Deprecated: use ready_by_local_time instead. The date component is discarded; only used to derive local time when ready_by_local_time is absent.
    - `ready_by_local_time` string, time: Local time by which energy is required (wall time)
    - `energy_estimated` boolean: False if energy_required_kwh is derived from target %SOC set on vehicle (e.g. via Enode), True if the energy_required_kwh is purely a user input
    - `may_charge_peak` boolean: If True, the vehicle may be charged in peak periods but only if all off-peak periods are used up and the energy requirement is not met.
  - `received_at` string, date-time, required

## Other responses

- `404`: Intent not found or not authorized to access
- `422`: Validation Error
- `500`: Server error while retrieving event
