# GET /user

`GET /user`

## Request

Retrieves the user who owns the personal access token (PAT) used to authenticate. API tokens aren't supported. The response includes `role` only when the `X-AXIOM-ORG-ID` header is set.

Current user.

- User: Represents a user in the system
  - `email` string, required: User's email address
  - `id` string, required: Unique identifier for the user
  - `name` string, required: User's full name
  - `role` UserDetailsRole, required: Detailed information about a user's role
    - `id` string, required: Unique identifier for the role
    - `name` string, required: Human-readable name of the role

## Other responses

- `403`: The request was authenticated with an API token, or the user isn't a member of the organization in `X-AXIOM-ORG-ID`.
