# Delete group

`DELETE /rbac/groups/{id}`

Permanently deletes a group. Members lose the roles the group granted but keep their own role, and dashboards the group owned are shared with everyone. Managed groups can't be deleted. Requires an Enterprise plan or the RBAC add-on.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `204`

The group was deleted.
