# Provision a temporary organization for an agent

`POST /orgs/provision`

## Request

Creates a temporary organization for an automated agent and returns a full-permission API token and a claim URL. The organization is deleted after 24 hours unless a human claims it. Doesn't require authentication and is rate limited per client IP.

## Request body

- ProvisionOrg
  - `edgeDeployment` string: Optional edge deployment (region) the organization is created in. If omitted, the environment's default region is used.
  - `name` string: Optional display name for the organization. If omitted, a name is auto-generated and the owner can rename it later.

## Response `200`

Provisioned organization.

  - `claimUrl` string, required: URL a human follows to claim ownership of the temporary org.

  - `expiresAt` string, date-time, required
  - `id` string, required
  - `name` string, required
  - `token` string, required: Full-permission API token the agent uses to create datasets, ingest, and query. Returned once and never retrievable again.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid name or edge deployment.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded, either for the client IP or for all callers. Retry later with backoff.
