# Delete dataset

`DELETE /datasets/{dataset_id}`

Deletes a dataset and queues the permanent deletion of its data. For a dataset shared with your organization, removes it from your organization only. Returns the ID of the deletion job.

Dataset deleted and data deletion job created.
