# Create or Update Source Description

`PUT /sources/{sourceId}/description`

Create or update the description property. This should be a human-readable description that may be showed in detailed views of Sources. The description should be longer and more detailed than `label`.

## Response `204`

No content. The description has been created or updated.

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad request. Invalid Source description.
- `403` — Forbidden. You do not have permission to modify this resource.
- `404` — The requested Source does not exist.
