# Get available UID/GID numbers

`GET /api/ldap/ids`

Retrieve lists of used UID/GID numbers and get proposed available numbers for new user/group creation

## Response `200`

Successfully retrieved UID/GID information

- object
  - `success` boolean
  - `message` object
    - `proposed_uid` integer — Suggested available UID for new user
    - `proposed_gid` integer — Suggested available GID for new group
    - `uid_in_use` integer[] — List of currently used UIDs
    - `gid_in_use` integer[] — List of currently used GIDs

## Other responses

- `500` — Unable to contact LDAP server or lookup failed
