# Sets a skill secret value.

`PUT /agents/skills/secretvalues`

Sets a skill secret value. Workspace-scoped values require admin permissions; user-scoped values are stored for the requesting user only.

## Request body

- SetSkillSecretValueRequestModel — Represents the request payload that sets a skill secret value.
  - `envVarName` string, required — The environment variable name the value belongs to.
  - `scope` string, required — The scope of the value ("workspace" or "user").
  - `value` string, required — The secret value. It is stored encrypted and never returned by the API.
