# Remove a Certification

`DELETE /v1/talent/{talentId}/certification`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.avionte.com/front-office`
- URL: `https://api.avionte.com/front-office/v1/talent/{talentId}/certification`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Permanently deletes the specified certification tag or custom tag for the specified talent record from their profile.

## Headers

- `RequestId` string, uuid: Unique request identifier in UUID format used to correlate request data to log entries and events.
- `FrontOfficeTenantId` integer
- `Tenant` string

## Response `200`

The removed certification tag.

- TalentCertification
  - `id` integer: The identifier for the talent Certification Tag.
  - `talentId` integer, required: The identifier for the talent.
  - `certificationId` integer: The identifier for the Certification option.
  - `certificationName` string, required: The name of the Certification option.
  - `expirationDate` string, date-time: The expiration date of the Certification Tag. The field follows the YYYY-MM-DD or YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mm:ss formats, for example, 2026-12-01 or 2026-12-01T00:00:00.
