# Upload a Document

`POST /v2/talent/{talentId}/documents`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.avionte.com/talent`
- URL: `https://api.avionte.com/talent/v2/talent/{talentId}/documents`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Uploads a base 64-encoded document to associate with the talent, which may be from onboarding or other document collection processes.

- `talentId` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `Name` string, required: The name of the document. It may or may not be its original file name.
  - `Content` string, byte, required: The content of the document.

## Response `201`

The talent.

- object
  - `Name` string, required: The name of the document. It may or may not be its original file name.
  - `Content` string, byte, required: The content of the document.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Access Denied
- `404`: The specified talent does not exist.
- `406`: Unsupported format(s) indicated by Accept header
- `415`: Unsupported format(s) indicated by the Content-Type header
- `429`: Too many requests
- `500`: An unexpected error occurred
- `502`: The request could not be completed because an error occurred in an upstream service
