# Check the Health

`GET /v2/health`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.avionte.com/talent`
- URL: `https://api.avionte.com/talent/v2/health`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Returns the operational status of the service.

## Response `200`

Health

- object: Holds basic information about the service's health.
  - `TalentServiceVersion` object: The version number of the primary assembly for the service. Major: The major version of the API. Minor: The minor version of the API. Build: The build number of the API. Revision: The revision number of the API. MajorRevision: The major revision version of the API. MinorRevision: The minor revision version of the API.
    - `Major` integer
    - `Minor` integer
    - `Build` integer
    - `Revision` integer
    - `MajorRevision` integer
    - `MinorRevision` integer
  - `CanReadFromDynamo` boolean: When deepCheck is requested, this will indicates if the DynamoDB tables are accessible.
  - `MachineName` string: The name of the server this instance of the service is running upon.
  - `Timestamp` string, date-time: The date and time of this request.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Access Denied
- `406`: Unsupported format(s) indicated by Accept header
- `415`: Unsupported format(s) indicated by the Content-Type header
- `429`: Too many requests
- `500`: An unexpected error occurred
- `502`: The request could not be completed because an error occurred in an upstream service
