# Delete the video row and nullify dependent FKs.

`DELETE /api/v1/videos/{video_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.avatarfactory.io` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

- Auth: one of:
  - API key in cookie `session`
  - HTTP bearer

<br/>Storage cleanup of the underlying mp4 is intentionally NOT done<br/>here · the storage GC sweeps stranded files separately so the<br/>user-facing delete is fast and never blocks on S3. The Posts row<br/>survives (with `video_id=NULL`) so audit history is preserved.
