# Wake the speaker detection GPU while the user is on the new copy video screen.

`POST /api/v1/copy-ingest/prewarm`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.avatarfactory.io` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

- Auth: one of:
  - API key in cookie `session`
  - HTTP bearer

<br/>The wizard's source step calls it when it opens and every 15 s while it is shown,<br/>until a link is pasted. At most one ping per user per 15 s; extra calls return<br/>`pinged: false`. A no-op without Modal credentials. Never waits on the GPU.

## Response `202`

Accepted

- PrewarmResponse: POST /api/v1/copy-ingest/prewarm: whether this call sent a GPU ping (False when the user pinged in the last 15 s or Modal is not configured).
  - `pinged` boolean, required

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `422`: Unprocessable Entity
