# Decline the application. The reason is required and is stored on the row.

`POST /api/v1/admin/affiliates/{affiliate_id}/decline`

## Request body

- AdminDeclineRequest: A decline. The reason is required, and the service is the one that says so. `reason` accepts an empty string on purpose: the emptiness check lives in `admin_service.decline`, so the refusal carries the machine-readable `reason_required` code that the admin queue shows, rather than a generic validation blob.

- AdminAffiliateItem: One affiliate as the admin queue sees it. Wider than the affiliate's own `AffiliateView`: it carries `user_id` and `decided_by_user_id` so the queue can link to the account and show who decided. `payout_details` is masked here exactly as it is everywhere else.
