# Change a deployment's throughput

`POST /v1/deployments/{deploymentId}/throughput`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.auxen.ai`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Sets Standard / Double / Quad / Max. Same model and answer quality; more simultaneous requests and a higher per-hour rate. The endpoint and API key are unchanged. Pay-as-you-go only.

## Path parameters

- `deploymentId` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `throughput` union, required: Throughput level. More throughput handles more simultaneous requests at the same answer quality. Double, Quad, and Max cost 1.9×, 3.75×, and 7.5× the Standard rate. Numbers 1/2/4/8 are accepted as aliases.
    - 'standard' | 'double' | 'quad' | 'max'
    - 1 | 2 | 4 | 8
  - `capacity` 1 | 2 | 4 | 8: Deprecated alias of `throughput`; returned until 2027-04-02.
  - `confirm` true, required: Acknowledges the billing change.

- `409`: Conflict with current resource state.
