# Get a named output

`GET /task/{task_id}/outputs/{output_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.autumn.ai`
- URL: `https://api.autumn.ai/task/{task_id}/outputs/{output_id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

Rows from one named output. Page with limit and cursor: JSON carries _next_cursor; CSV and Markdown use X-Next-Cursor. Set format=csv for the current page as CSV, or format=md for person profiles as Markdown.

## Path parameters

- `task_id` string, required: The task_id returned by POST /task or POST /task/start.
- `output_id` string, required: The output id from the task spec, e.g. ai-security-companies.

## Query parameters

- `limit` integer: Maximum number of rows to return.
- `cursor` string: Resume from the _next_cursor of the previous page.
- `format` 'json' | 'csv' | 'md': Return the current page as JSON, CSV, or Markdown. md renders person outputs as the profile document the platform exports.

## Response `200`

Output page as JSON, CSV, or Markdown.

- OutputResponse
  - `total` integer, required: Rows available before limit.
  - `offset` integer
  - `rows` object[], required
  - `output` object, nullable: The artifact these rows belong to: id, kind, path.
  - `_next_cursor` string, nullable: Present when more rows remain. Pass it as cursor to read the next page.

## Other responses

- `400`: `invalid_request`: The request is invalid. Fix the field in `param` (see `detail`), or read `message`.
- `401`: `unauthorized`: Missing or invalid credentials. Send your full API key as `X-API-Key: <key>` or `Authorization: Bearer <key>`.
- `404`: `task_not_found`: No task with that task_id. Check the id, or list tasks with GET /task.
- `422`: `invalid_request`: a field failed validation. `param` names it; `detail` is the validator output.
- `503`: `auth_unavailable`: Key verification is temporarily unavailable. Wait `retry_after` seconds, then send the request again. | `service_unavailable`: Autumn is temporarily unavailable. Wait `retry_after` seconds, then send the request again.
