# Archives the goal; the row is kept as the record of why we acted

`DELETE /walmart/advertisers/{public_id}/goals/{item_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.autron.ai`
- URL: `https://api.autron.ai/walmart/advertisers/{public_id}/goals/{item_id}`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

A campaign it could not pause is retried with PUT .../campaigns/<campaign_id>/state (a second DELETE answers 404).

## Response `200`

Goal archived, then the item's managed campaigns paused: `campaigns` and `spend_stopped` say how; `message` names any that may still spend.

## Other responses

- `404`: No live goal for that item.
