# update a user's password

`POST /auth/reset-password`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.autron.ai`
- URL: `https://api.autron.ai/auth/reset-password`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Bearer must be the `password_reset`-scoped token from the emailed
reset link — a plain session token can't silently rotate the
password, and the emailed token works nowhere else.

- `password` string, required
