# Retrieve a draft

`GET /drafts/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.automessage.app/v1`
- URL: `https://api.automessage.app/v1/drafts/{id}`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-KEY`

## Response `200`

The draft.

- Draft
  - `id` string, required
  - `to` string, required: Empty for a group draft (addressed by chatGUID).
  - `conversationId` string, nullable: The existing thread this draft targets, when there is one (set for conversationId sends and for `to` sends that match a thread).
  - `chatGUID` string, nullable: Group drafts only: the chat id in the connector's `any;+;<id>` form.
  - `body` string, required
  - `sent` boolean, required
  - `sentAt` string, date-time, nullable
  - `scheduledAt` string, date-time, nullable
  - `createdAt` string, date-time, required

## Other responses

- `404`: The requested resource does not exist.
