# Delete a webhook subscription

`DELETE /v1/webhooks/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.automatedclientacquisition.com`
- URL: `https://api.automatedclientacquisition.com/v1/webhooks/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Removes the subscription and anything still queued for it — a destination
that no longer exists should not keep receiving deliveries.

Idempotent: deleting a subscription that is already gone returns 200 with
`deleted: 0`, so teardown never fails on a repeat.

Deleted.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, invalid or revoked token.
- `429`: Over 120 requests in the current minute. `Retry-After` says how many seconds until the window resets; wait that long and continue.
- `500`: Something broke on our side. Safe to retry with backoff.
