# Fetch a sequence

`GET /v1/sequences/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.automatedclientacquisition.com`
- URL: `https://api.automatedclientacquisition.com/v1/sequences/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Includes the full `steps` graph, unlike the list endpoint.

## Response `200`

The sequence, including `steps`.

- object
  - `success` boolean
  - `data` Sequence: An email sequence. `steps` is returned only by the single-sequence read — a step graph runs to tens of kilobytes, so a 100-row page would be megabytes of JSON nobody asked for.
    - `id` string, uuid
    - `name` string
    - `status` 'draft' | 'active' | 'paused': Only `active` sequences send. Enrolling into a draft is allowed and simply waits.
    - `source_type` string, nullable: How the sequence was authored, e.g. `ai`, `manual`.
    - `campaign_id` string, uuid, nullable
    - `lead_list_id` string, uuid, nullable: Legacy single-list link. Prefer `lead_list_ids`.
    - `lead_list_ids` string[]: Lead lists feeding this sequence. A sequence may draw from several.
    - `auto_enroll_new_members` boolean: When true, contacts added to any linked list are enrolled automatically.
    - `settings` object, nullable: Send windows, daily caps, mailbox pool and tracking configuration.
    - `steps` object[]: The step graph. Single-sequence read only — absent from list responses.
    - `created_at` string, date-time
    - `updated_at` string, date-time, nullable

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, invalid or revoked token.
- `404`: No such resource in your organization. Returned rather than `403` when the resource exists under a different tenant — cross-tenant existence is not disclosed.
