# Export a session result as a PDF

`GET /api/sessions/{sessionId}/export/pdf`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://aximo.autify.com`
- URL: `https://aximo.autify.com/api/sessions/{sessionId}/export/pdf`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`
- TypeScript: <https://skmtc.dev/autify/apis/aximo-api/docs/api/sessions/:sessionId/export/pdf/get.ts> (a function with typed inputs; its response is checked against the schema)

Returns the session's test result report as a PDF: overview, result summary,
and every step with its screenshot. The same report the web UI's Export menu
downloads. A session that is still running exports the steps recorded so far.
Sessions with more than 500 steps are rejected with 413; `details.stepCount`
and `details.maxSteps` carry the numbers. Export the screenshots archive for
those instead.

## Path parameters

- `sessionId` string, uuid, required

## Query parameters

- `locale` 'en' | 'ja' | 'ko'

## Response `200`

The PDF report, streamed without a Content-Length.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid sessionId or locale.
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `403`: The organization's contract has expired, the request comes from outside the organization's IP allowlist, or the API key's user is no longer a member.
- `404`: Session not found in this organization.
- `413`: The session has too many steps to render as a PDF.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded — e.g. the daily session limit was reached for the organization, or too many API requests were sent in a short window (retry after the number of seconds in the `Retry-After` header).
- `500`: Unexpected server error.
