# List available AI models

`GET /api/models`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://aximo.autify.com`
- URL: `https://aximo.autify.com/api/models`

Returns the AI models your organization can run, and the one applied when a
request omits `model`. The list is organization-wide — it is the same for
every workspace — and reflects both your organization's entitlements and
what the deployment is configured to serve, so it can differ between
cloud and on-premises installs.

Passing a model that is not on this list to `POST /api/sessions` or to a
trigger endpoint is rejected with `400`.

  - `models` Model[], required
    - `id` 'haiku' | 'sonnet' | 'kimi' | 'gpt-5.4' | 'gpt-5.4-mini' | 'gpt-5.5' | 'auto', required: Value to pass as `model` when creating a session or triggering a run.
    - `displayName` string, required: Human-readable name, e.g. `Claude Sonnet`.
    - `provider` 'anthropic' | 'openai' | 'moonshot' | 'mixed', required: Who serves the model. `mixed` means the model is chosen per step (`auto`).
  - `defaultModel` string, nullable, required: The model used when a request omits `model`. `null` only when the deployment serves no model at all, in which case every run is rejected until a provider is configured.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `403`: The API key's user is banned or no longer a member of the organization, or the organization's contract has expired.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded — e.g. the daily session limit was reached for the organization, or too many API requests were sent in a short window (retry after the number of seconds in the `Retry-After` header).
- `500`: Unexpected server error.
