# Download an app binary for a local device

`GET /api/devices/apps/{uploadId}/download`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://aximo.autify.com`
- URL: `https://aximo.autify.com/api/devices/apps/{uploadId}/download`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`
- TypeScript: <https://skmtc.dev/autify/apis/aximo-api/docs/api/devices/apps/:uploadId/download/get.ts> (a function with typed inputs; its response is checked against the schema)

Downloads a previously uploaded app binary (APK/IPA) so the on-device
aximo CLI can install it on a local BYOD device. In cloud environments
the response is a `302` redirect to a short-lived download URL; follow
redirects and expect a binary body either way.

## Path parameters

- `uploadId` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

App binary streamed from storage.

## Other responses

- `302`: Redirect to a short-lived download URL.
- `400`: Invalid upload ID.
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `403`: API key is not scoped to an organization, the user is banned, or the user is no longer a member of the organization.
- `404`: App file not found (no binary stored for this upload, or it belongs to another organization), or BYOD is not enabled for the organization.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded — e.g. the daily session limit was reached for the organization, or too many API requests were sent in a short window (retry after the number of seconds in the `Retry-After` header).
- `500`: Unexpected server error.
