# Register for a free API key

Self-serve registration for machine callers. POST a business email address and tier 'free' to receive an API key in the response body — no browser, no form, no confirmation step. The key is shown once and also sent to that address. Use it as 'Authorization: Bearer sk_...', or exchange it for a scoped token at /oauth/token. Ten requests per hour; a second registration for the same address returns 409.
