# Share Milestone

`POST /tenants/{tenant_id}/milestones/{milestone_id}/share`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api-sandbox.aurorasolar.com`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Shares a milestone with a third-party owner (TPO) provider.
The TPO tenant is determined based on the financing associated with the design the milestone belongs to.

## Path parameters

- `tenant_id` string, uuid, required
- `milestone_id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

Successfully shared milestone

- object
  - `shared_milestone` object
    - `id` string, uuid: The ID of the shared milestone
    - `project_id` string, uuid: The ID of the project associated with the milestone
    - `sending_tenant_id` string, uuid: The ID of the tenant that shared the milestone
    - `receiving_tenant_id` string, uuid: The ID of the tenant that received the shared milestone
    - `shared_at` string, date-time: The timestamp when the milestone was shared

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Milestone not found
- `422`: Unable to share milestone
