# x402 trust check ($0.003 USDC). Use before you pay an unfamiliar x402 endpoint, or when choosing between paid APIs.

Use it before paying an unfamiliar x402 endpoint or when choosing between paid APIs. We send one unpaid request and report whether it returns a valid 402, the price, asset, network and payTo, response time, whether that matches its public Bazaar listing, and our probe history, with a 0-100 score and each factor spelled out. Measured by our probes; not a guarantee. Never charged for errors: we settle the payment only after a successful answer.

## Query parameters

- `url` string, required: Full http(s) URL of the x402 resource to check.

## Response `200`

Success (only now is the payment settled).

- `400`: Invalid input. Free: answered before any payment.
- `402`: Payment Required. The PAYMENT-REQUIRED header carries the x402 v2 requirements (amount in USDC atomic units).
- `429`: Rate limited. Nothing charged.
