# Create an account program

`POST /v1/simulations/account_programs`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.augustus.com`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Creates a Mock-US USD account program owned by the caller merchant. This endpoint is unavailable in live production.

## Headers

- `Idempotency-Key` string, required

## Request body

- CreateAccountProgramSimulationBodyDto
  - `label` string, required: Human-readable label for the account program.
  - `type` 'fbo_program' | 'fbo_sponsored', required: Account program type. Simulation supports FBO programs only.

## Response `200`

The account program creation simulation acknowledgement

- AccountProgramSimulationResourceDto
  - `type` 'account_program_simulation', required: Resource type discriminator.
  - `account_program_id` string, uuid, required: Account program whose lifecycle is being simulated.
