# Transcribes a recording into the key's workspace.

`POST /api/agent/v1/transcribe`

## Request

## Request body

- AgentTranscribeRequest
  - `title` string, nullable
  - `url` string, required: https URL of an audio or video file.

## Response `200`

Accepted: job_id to poll at /api/agent/v1/transcriptions/{job_id}

## Other responses

- `401`: A workspace API key is needed (a first top-up returns one)
- `403`: The key's workspace is read-only: it holds no recordings
