# Close a direct upload and start processing

`POST /v1/notes/{id}/finalize`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.audiomap.ai`
- URL: `https://api.audiomap.ai/v1/notes/{id}/finalize`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Call it after PUTting the bytes to the presigned `upload.url`.

Upload accepted, processing queued

  - `noteId` string, uuid
  - `jobId` string
  - `status` 'processing'

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `402`: Monthly minute quota exhausted
- `403`: Your plan does not include the REST API
- `404`: No note with that id belongs to you
- `409`: The note is not waiting for an upload
- `429`: Too many requests for this API key
