# Ask a question across every note you own

`POST /v1/ask`

## Request

Answers cite [Note title | mm:ss]. Pass the returned `sessionId` back to continue the same conversation.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `402`: Not enough credits
- `403`: Your plan does not include the REST API
- `404`: No note with that id belongs to you
- `429`: Too many requests for this API key
- `502`: The model did not answer; credits were refunded
