# Dismiss Action

`POST /actions/{action_uuid}/dismiss`

## Request

Dismisses a pending Proactive action owned by the caller. Mirrors the dismiss action in the UI.

## Path parameters

- `action_uuid` string, required

## Response `200`

Action dismissed (or already not pending)

- ProactiveActionMutationResponse
  - `action_uuid` string: Unique identifier of the action that was mutated
  - `updated` boolean: True when the action transitioned state; false when it was already not pending (idempotent no-op)

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication failed - valid API key required
- `404`: Action not found or not owned by the caller
- `default`: Unexpected error occurred while processing the request
