# Delete an epic

`DELETE /api/v1/epics/{id}`

## Request

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `204`

Successfully deleted the epic. No content is returned in the response.

## Other responses

- `404`: The epic could not be found. It may not exist or may have already been deleted.
