# Get field project associations

`GET /rest/api/2/field/{fieldId}/association/project`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://your-domain.atlassian.net`
- URL: `https://your-domain.atlassian.net/rest/api/2/field/{fieldId}/association/project`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://auth.atlassian.com/authorize`, token URL `https://auth.atlassian.com/oauth/token`, scopes: `read:jira-work`)

Returns a [paginated](#pagination) list of project associations for the given custom field. Each association contains the ID of a project the field is associated with.

## Query parameters

- `startAt` integer
- `maxResults` integer

## Response `200`

Returned if the request is successful.

- PageBeanFieldProjectAssociation: A page of items.
  - `isLast` boolean: Whether this is the last page.
  - `maxResults` integer: The maximum number of items that could be returned.
  - `nextPage` string, uri: If there is another page of results, the URL of the next page.
  - `self` string, uri: The URL of the page.
  - `startAt` integer: The index of the first item returned.
  - `total` integer: The number of items returned.
  - `values` FieldProjectAssociation[]: The list of items.
    - `projectId` string

## Other responses

- `400`: Returned if the request is invalid.
- `401`: Returned if the authentication credentials are incorrect or missing.
- `403`: Returned if the user does not have the necessary permission.
