# Show details about the calling user.

`GET /user`

## Request

- Base URL: `{{ server_url }}/v1`
- URL: `{{ server_url }}/v1/user`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
- TypeScript: <https://skmtc.dev/athenian/apis/title/docs/user/get.ts> (a function with typed inputs; its response is checked against the schema)

## Response `200`

Information about the calling user: name, email, login, etc.

- User: User details. "updated" and "accounts" are populated only for the calling user.
  - `accounts` object: Mapping from user's account ID the membership status.
  - `email` string: Email of the user.
  - `id` string, required: Auth0 user identifier.
  - `impersonated_by` string: Identifier of the super admin user who is acting on behalf of.
  - `login` string, required: Auth backend user login name.
  - `native_id` string, required: Auth backend user identifier.
  - `name` string: Full name of the user.
  - `picture` string: Avatar URL of the user.
  - `updated` string, date-time: Date and time of the last profile update.
