# 🛡️👤 Change the status of an account member: regular, admin, or banished (deleted). This endpoint is allowed only for account admins.

## Request body

- AccountUserChangeRequest: Request to change an account member's status.
  - `account` integer, required: Account ID.
  - `user` string, required: Account member ID.
  - `status` 'regular' | 'admin' | 'banished', required: Account membership role.

## Response `200`

Effective account members.

- Account: Account members ("updated" and "accounts" are not populated) and installed GitHub organizations.
  - `admins` User[], required: List of admin users.
    - `accounts` object: Mapping from user's account ID the membership status.
    - `email` string: Email of the user.
    - `id` string, required: Auth0 user identifier.
    - `impersonated_by` string: Identifier of the super admin user who is acting on behalf of.
    - `login` string, required: Auth backend user login name.
    - `native_id` string, required: Auth backend user identifier.
    - `name` string: Full name of the user.
    - `picture` string: Avatar URL of the user.
    - `updated` string, date-time: Date and time of the last profile update.
  - `regulars` User[], required: List of non-admin users.
    - `accounts` object: Mapping from user's account ID the membership status.
    - `email` string: Email of the user.
    - `id` string, required: Auth0 user identifier.
    - `impersonated_by` string: Identifier of the super admin user who is acting on behalf of.

## Other responses

- `403`: Requesting user is not an admin of the account.
- `404`: The account was not found.
