# List Website Members

`GET /api/v1/websites/{website_id}/members`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.athenahq.ai`
- URL: `https://api.athenahq.ai/api/v1/websites/{website_id}/members`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Returns all users with access to a website — both organization members (implicit access to every website in the org) and users with explicit website-member rows. Each entry includes an `access_type` field (`organization` or `website`) so you can tell them apart. If a user has both an org membership and a stray website-member row, they appear once with `access_type: "organization"`. Accepts a global API key, or a website-scoped key if the website is in the key's allowlist.

    - `user_id` string, uuid, required: Unique identifier of the user
    - `email` string, email, required: The user's email address
    - `first_name` string, nullable: The user's first name, if set
    - `last_name` string, nullable: The user's last name, if set
    - `role` string, required: The user's role. For `access_type: "organization"`, this is the organization role. For `access_type: "website"`, this is the per-website role. Each role is its slug — the role's normalized name (lowercase, no spaces): `admin`, `viewer`, `editor`, `billing`, or a custom role's id (e.g. `contentmanager`). `admin` and `viewer` are unchanged from prior versions.
    - `access_type` 'organization' | 'website', required: How the user has access to the website. `organization` = implicit access via org membership. `website` = explicit website_members row.
    - `created_at` string, date-time, required: When the membership row was created (UTC)

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request - Invalid website ID format
- `401`: Unauthorized - Invalid or missing API key
- `403`: Forbidden - API key does not have access to this website
- `404`: Not found - Website does not exist
- `500`: Internal server error
