# Who may be named manager, or team lead

`GET /organization/candidates`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.atako.ai`
- URL: `https://api.atako.ai/organization/candidates`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Exactly one of `subject` (candidates to manage that member) or `teamLead` (candidates to lead that team) — neither or both is a 400. Blocked candidates are returned too, with their `blockedReason`. Admin only: it is the list an editor unrolls, and it only means something to somebody who may pick from it.

## Query parameters

- `subject` string
- `teamLead` string, uuid

## Response `200`

- object
  - `candidates` OrgCandidate[], required
    - `ref` OrgRef, required: A reference to a member of the organisation, whatever its nature. Humans and agents are the same kind of node in this chart.
      - `kind` 'human' | 'agent', required
      - `id` string, uuid, required
    - `name` string, required
    - `role` string, required
    - `blockedReason` 'SELF' | 'CYCLE' | 'NO_HUMAN_MANAGER' | 'HUMAN_NEEDS_HUMAN', nullable, required: Null when the candidate can be chosen. A stable CODE, never a sentence: the client translates it.

## Other responses

- `400`: Provide exactly one of `subject` or `teamLead`.
- `401`: Missing, malformed, or invalid bearer token / API key, or revoked session (SESSION_REVOKED).
- `403`: The caller does not have the required role/permission.
- `404`: Not found, or the caller is not authorized to access this resource.
