# Signed download URL of the file behind a knowledge item

`GET /knowledge/items/{id}/download-url`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.atako.ai`
- URL: `https://api.atako.ai/knowledge/items/{id}/download-url`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

For items of kind `file` you can read. 404 (never 403) for an unknown or unreadable item, one that is not a file, or a file that is gone.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

- SignedDownloadUrl
  - `signedUrl` string, uri, required
  - `expiresIn` integer, required: Seconds; 3600.

## Other responses

- `400`: Malformed item id.
- `401`: Missing, malformed, or invalid bearer token / API key, or revoked session (SESSION_REVOKED).
- `404`: Not found, or the caller is not authorized to access this resource.
