# Stop the agent's running turn

`POST /agents/{agentId}/turns/stop`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Hermes agents only. Hard stop: the partial answer (if any) is posted with `meta.interrupted`. 202: the frame was sent; the outcome arrives over SSE `turn_control_result`.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, malformed, or invalid bearer token / API key, or revoked session (SESSION_REVOKED).
- `404`: Not found, or the caller is not authorized to access this resource.
- `409`: AGENT_NOT_CONNECTED
