# Delete Palm Id

Soft-deletes a palm reading — or a compatibility_id — for the user.

Nothing is removed from our side: readings, categories, reports, compatibility
results and images all stay in D1/R2. The id is only flagged as deleted, after
which every endpoint (including this one) answers 404 "... does not exist".
Deleting is account housekeeping, not a reading — intentionally NOT sent to
palm analytics (every other successful endpoint is).
