# Get personal year number

`POST /v1/numerology/personal-year`

## Request

Calculates the personal year number and its guidance for a birth date. Body: `date` (YYYY-MM-DD), optional `year` (defaults to the current calendar year). Returns theme, opportunities, challenges, and practical advice.

## Request body

- PersonalYearPostRequest: MCP-friendly POST body for personal year (birth `date` + optional target `year`).
  - `name` string, nullable: Optional and not used in the calculation; accepted so older clients keep working
  - `date` string, date, required: Birth date (YYYY-MM-DD or ISO datetime string from clients)
  - `year` integer, nullable: Calendar year to interpret; defaults to the current year
