# Ayanamsha Values

`GET /v1/astro/ayanamsha`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.asterwise.com`
- URL: `https://api.asterwise.com/v1/astro/ayanamsha`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns ayanamsha values for all four supported systems (Lahiri, Raman, KP, Tropical) for a given date. Each system returns the value in decimal degrees and DMS (degrees/minutes/seconds) format. Pass ?date=YYYY-MM-DD for a specific date. Omit ?date to get today's values (today's UTC date). Lahiri is the Indian government standard and default for Jyotish.

## Query parameters

- `date` string, date, nullable: Date, YYYY-MM-DD. Omit for today's UTC date.
