Daily spot prices for Brent (Europe) and WTI (Cushing, OK) crude in USD per barrel, as published by the US EIA with about one business day lag. Not an exchange tick feed. Source: U.S. Energy Information Administration (public domain (US federal)). Cadence: daily; observed_at in the response is the upstream timestamp.

## Other responses

- `402`: Payment Required — pay via x402 or MPP (USDC on Base, Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism or SKALE), then retry.
